APWA (American Public Works Association) InfoLink
(1998)

Roles: Interaction design, graphic design, HTML prototyping.

Project Details: In conjunction with the national office of APWA, the Kansas City Metro Chapter hired M.J. Harden Associates to develop and implement the APWA InfoLink web site, a centralized information resource for the design/build community. An infrastructure was created to allow users to download information such as permits, zoning documents, and CAD files, and information providers (such as cities) with the ability to upload and maintain their pages.

Cathy organized user tasks, then created several visual prototypes to present to the client for approval. Cathy built HTML prototypes and integrated Active Server Page content.
