M.J. Harden timelog application
(1999)

Roles: Interaction design, graphic design, HTML prototyping.

Project Details: M.J. Harden Associates developed this web-based timelog application for internal use to replace an outdated, difficult to use system. The application put project ID information at hand and greatly reduced possibility of errors by using drop-down lists in key locations.

Cathy entered the project towards the end of the engineering design phase. A basic application had already been put together but needed some major interaction and visual redesign. Without forcing the development team to start over, Cathy reorganized the user tasks into more page positions and created elements to visually group tasks together. She also added a help section and pop-up screens to look up project numbers and work code. Cathy worked with the developers to implement all of the changes.
