eGain, Inc.
(2001)
Roles: Interaction design, graphic design, HTML prototyping.
Project Details: eGain needed a way for their sales team to submit client assessments and leads while still in the field. Cellmania built both a web application and mobile version to run on the Hewlett Packard Jornada PocketPC.
Cathy studied the interaction model and read usability studies of the device, which indicated difficulty in the input of text. Next, Cathy created use models, then built a prototype of the application that minimized text input by utilizing checkboxes, dropdown lists, and radio buttons as much as possible. Mockups were then given to developers to implement.
